Introduction

The Panama Pacific Area constitutes one of the most important State projects in Panama, because it contemplates the development of an international business center, which serves as a magnet for large multinational companies, logistics services, various businesses and industries in general. The fundamental objective of this Economic Area is to attract direct investment of foreign capital and boost the generation of jobs in Panama.

Through this major project, the Republic of Panama promotes the development of activities such as logistics, maritime and airport services, high technology, call centers, shared services, among others, by offering customs, immigration, labor and tax benefits.

Panama Pacifico, as a Special Economic Area, promotes the association of public and private capital for the development of the region, through effective policies with pertinent regulatory frameworks.

These associated entities are: London & Regional Panama and the Panama Pacific Agency, and they are in charge of the development, administration, planning and promotion of the area, the first, and the second deals with the regulation of the activities that are carried out.

Panama Pacifico has a strategic location in the heart of world trade, at the southern entrance of the Panama Canal, on the land of the old Howard air base, after crossing the Bridge of the Americas. This Special Economic Area has direct access to the Pan-American Highway, which connects Panama with Central and North America, is close to the port of Balboa in the Pacific Ocean, and is located very close to downtown Panama City and Tocumen International Airport. and one hour from the largest container port complex located in the Caribbean Sea, the ZLC

Panama Pacifico has an Integrated Procedures System, which facilitates the administrative process of companies. This service brings together more than 17 government entities, among which are:

The Panama Pacific Agency (APP) will charge the notion of registration fees in the Registry of Companies of the Panama Pacific Area and for other services provided according to the following aspects:
